The idea of establishing the association of brotherhoods in Lebanon started on January 1, 1951 in the region of Bikfaya. The meeting was attended by the head of the monastery of Our Lady of Salvation in Bikfaya, the brotherhood leader Yusuf Abu Haile, the mayor and their guide, Father George Khoury put forward the idea of seeking to bring all the Lebanese brothers together in an association that seeks to strengthen them and strengthen faith in their children.
